Heritage Families say NO,
they fish in the same spots their forefathers have since the 1700's.
They say in 1967 more Curve was added to the river
pushing it closer to the newly built Scenic Hwy 11.
Hwy 11 was built on top of Hwy 276 which follows
the original Keowee Cherokee Path used by English and French fur traders.
